Confusion can be a way to control you.
With all the competing information out there, it can create confusion. Confusion can create an environment for stagnation. If I can get you confused, you won’t be sure of yourself. You will choose to keep going despite it or stop to figure out what the ‘right way’ is.
Confusion then, has stalled you.
A few years back there was an article written about water intake. It made the news. It was suggesting that you don’t really need to drink all that water. I heard so much about this. What it resulted in for many people, was not drinking the water they were currently drinking. Whether you agree with it or not, it definitely casted enough doubt to affect many of us.
When something comes out, I encourage you to think critically about it. The basic components of healthy eating and exercise haven’t changed much. Being hydrated, eating more fruits and vegetables, balanced meals and exercising go a long way. That is also where many of us have room to work with. Once you get the basics down, you can build on them.
