So many random days I come into work and the same document is moved on my desktop.
I have to search to find it.
It was unnerving. Now it is just embarrassing. for them.
It is happening more now.
Why would this happen? Well, I believe, It is simply meant to freak you out and make you feel uneasy. My job requires a certain level of harmony and clarity. I thought about the sexual harassment and maybe the whole point, is to get you to quit. Get rid of that bi!*h. If I make you uncomfortable, how long will you stay?
It seems such a small thing to do, but is really a picture of control and how they get you. Should I report it? There were worse things done. Like when my calendar was messed with and I had to redo the whole thing again. or when my PTO was unblocked from my calendar, so I had to choose to take the time off I needed or reschedule all of those members. Luckily, the calendar incident has not happened, since I made a bit of a stink. It seems that is what you have to do, to get someone to see.
Before you speak, I did ‘stay positive.’ I redid the calendar. I said, ‘hey I learned how to do it better.’ I also said, Please make this stop and asked them to limit who has access to my calendar.
This smells like harassment. What if it were happening to you?
So why wouldn’t I just report this bizarre behavior? Because there is a no retaliation policy, but only if you report in ‘good faith.’ Hmmm. Is that a loophole? What is good faith? Do I have to be religious or join one of your faith based groups?
You see, I did report something. I thought it was okay to do. But the entire next year, is when I paid a tax on my productivity. Is this connected? You tell me. I don’t know what is happening on the back end. I just have the numbers to prove. The bonus this year? I got 85%. Not 100%, because that was the rating I was given for the year. It was an on purpose dig, culminating the tax that I paid. So the real question is, who got my productivity? The numbers went somewhere. So where are they today?
*Please don’t assume who is doing this.
