Barefoot Feet Can’t Walk Away

I keep having a recurring dream.

Where I am barefoot,

And my shoes are no where to be seen.

Sometimes in the dream I find a pair of shoes,

Most of the time I spend looking for my things.

Another day she gives me her shoes,

They are size 10,

Too big for me to fill into.

Where have my shoes gone,

That protect my feet?

So I can run,

Or walk away?
